The 33rd Annual National Character and Leadership Symposium (NCLS) is scheduled to take place Feb. 20 and 21 at the U.S. Air Force Academy.

This year’s theme, “Courage to Lead in the Profession of Arms: Combat & Crisis-tested Character,” honors the Academy’s legacy of producing courageous leaders who have defended the nation in combat. Coinciding with America’s 250th anniversary, the symposium offers cadets, faculty, and visiting students a chance to engage with a variety of speakers and participate in group discussions.

Featured speakers include astronaut Lt. Col. Nichole Ayers (‘11) alongside esteemed military leaders such as retired Generals Marc Sasseville (’85), Edward Mechenbier (’64), and Austin Miller. They will be joined by 93rd Air Ground Operations Wing Commander Col. John Blocher (’99), U.S. Northern Command’s Col. Justin J. Elliott, and retired Master Sgt. Israel “DT” Del Toro, Jr.

Registration for the event closes on February 6. A complete list of speakers, workshop schedules, and registration details can be found on the official NCLS website.
