U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. - Summer is a busy time here at your Air Force Academy. Training cycles begin anew, Colorado’s abundant outdoor activities beckon us to take part in adventure and we celebrate our independence and freedoms as a nation revered around the world.

I ask that you help our organization and those you hold dear to embrace a safety culture. Quite simply, that you value safety principles and live by practicing risk management on and off duty. Safety is everyone’s job and safety can be seen as the Air Force’s wingman; there to protect capability (people and resources) and prevent mishaps.

Enjoy the summer season and all it has to offer at our truly amazing duty location. Your safety professional have supplied some seasonal information for your team to utilize. Whether firing up the grill or motorcycle, or heading to the mountains with family or friends, we want you back mission-ready and motivated to continue developing our future leaders.
